Illness
If a camper exhibits or reports
symptoms during camp that are not consistent with a diagnosed chronic illness,
allergy, or condition that was documented on the camper’s emergency form. The
camper will be separated from the group until an authorized adult is able to
pick them up.
Returning to camp after illness
A camper who exhibits or reports
one or more symptoms may return to camp after they have been symptom-free for
24 hours.
Late
Campers not picked up on time will be charged an additional
fee of $10 for every 15 minutes campers remain on-site. Payable in cash or
check upon arrival.
Heat
If
temperatures are predicted to hit or exceed 100 degrees during camp hours, camp
may be canceled with a refund given back for the day we cancel. Our programs
reserve the right to make decisions in real time as conditions change.
We may make
accommodations on days when the weather is predicted to be 100 degrees or
higher such as:
- Half day camp
(9am-12pm)
- Going to an indoor facility for the afternoon
(movie theater, aquatic park, Ext.) subject to availability of facility and
buses
If we choose
to do either of these options, there will be NO Refund
for hours camp is offered.
Air
quality
Since this
camp is focused outdoors, we will run into times in the summer when the air
quality is poor. If the air quality index (AQI) for the camp location is
forecasted to be listed as UNHEALTHY ( AQI= 151 or higher) throughout the camp
day according to airnow.gov, camp will be canceled for the day with a refund
given. Our programs reserve the right to make decisions in real time as
conditions change.
